Brandywine introduces new head baseball coach, Billy Haines.
Coach Bill Haines is entering his first season as the head of the Penn State Brandywine Baseball Program. Coach Haines is a graduate of Penn State Brandywine and was a member of the Lions Baseball team during his time on campus. Bill then served as an assistant coach with Brandywine from 2004-2007 helping guide the Lions to three division Championships. It was at this point when Haines made his move to the high school ranks from 2008-2011 with Glen Mills and Interboro High School, before returning to Brandywine this year to become Head Coach of his alma mater.
Coach Haines graduated from Penn State Brandywine with a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family studies. Haines recently received his master's degree from Wilmington University in School Counseling. He currently resides in Newtown Square with his wife Shannon.
