Brandywine's Men's Basketball schedule is released.

The staff at PSU Brandywine has once again put together a challenging non league schedule to accompany its already tough league schedule. As always Brandywine looks for the non league schedule to prepare them for the daunting task of making the PSUAC playoffs.

Brandywine will face two NCAA Division III opponents in PSU Berks and Westfield State. Penn State will return to campus for their home opener on November 21st against Bridgewater from the mighty ODAC conference.

After the Thanksgiving break Brandywine will have four league games in six days, including a contest at budding rival PSU Lehigh Valley. Brandywine will return home for back to back  games against PSU Greater Allegheny and defending PSUAC Champions PSU Dubois. Dubois knocked Brandywine from the finial four with a seven point victory on the way two their second championship in six years. Brandywine will wrap this challenging stretch with PSUAC runner up PSU Wilkes-Barre on December 3rd.

PSU Brandywine once again will compete against NCAA Division III opponents in the Heritage Classic at Rowan University. At Rowan Brandywine will face two New Jersey Athletic Conference opponents; Rowan University and Rutgers-Camden University. Wrapping up the first half of the schedule is another PSUAC South opponent for their first of two match ups against PSU Mont Alto who promises to be better with second year coach Jack Schenzel. Finally, another trip back into NCAA Div III versus PSU Abington.  PSU Abington left the PSUAC conference to join the NEAC. Prior to their departure to NEAC Abington was a ten time PSUAC champion.

After finals and the Christmas break Brandywine continues their venture against NCAA opponents in an attempt to prepare them for league play with a road game against McDaniel College in Maryland on January 7th. Brandywine returns home for consecutive home leagues against division rival PSU Schuylkill and PSU Scranton January 11th and 12th.

The following week will prove to the most challenging for Brandywine with four league games in six days. The week begins with home games against PSU York, the defending PSUAC South champ on January 14th and Mont Alto on January 16th. Then they hit the road for a contest with PSUAC powerhouse Penn State Beaver.  Beaver has won the championships three out of the last four years. This game serves as a measuring stick for the league year in and year out. The following day is another road game at PSU New Kensington who has won 12 PSUAC championships. This weekend will show Brandywine where they stand in the league play. Brandywine's finial non-league game is against Valley Forge Christian College on January 22 which is always a talented and challenging opponent.

The basketball men of Brandywine are looking forward to this demanding schedule and hopes to advance further into the post season then last year.
