Brandywine Ice Hockey wins DVCHC Championsip!

Penn State Brandywine Ice Hockey has done it again! The 2011-2012 season has wrapped up as the previous two have with a Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference (DVCHC) championship.

After a best of three championship series this past weekend (March 2-4) Brandywine comes out on top winning two of the three against Alvernia University. Brandywine took game one, 2-0 only to fall just short the following day in game two. Losing the second, 3-4 only fueled Brandywine to defend their championship and they prevailed in game three with a big victory over Alvernia 7-4.  The entire series was a battle of fast skating and  pressure on goal but Brandywine was able to maintain focus and use power plays to their advantage.

Penn State Brandywine comes home with another title as well as another shiny trophy to add to their ever growing collection.
