Brandywine v. Schuylkill

The Lions won big on their home opener on Saturday, September 10 with a 6-0 shutout of PSU Schuylkill. Freshman Nick Previti recorded his first collegiate shutout with seven saves. Alex Steele (Chichester) recorded his first hat trick of his career and increased his score total to four, he also added an assist. Dmitriy Zherdev scored his first goal of the season and Patrick Lowitz added his first career goal. The Lions set the tone for their season last week with a tie at Penn College and continued to show strength over the growing Schuylkill Lions. Christian Westin, CJ Gamber and David Rhoton played a solid game in the backfield keeping the opposition to only ten total minutes in their defending third of the field.
