Brandywine v. Beaver

After a tough loss earlier in the week to Stevenson College (MD), the Lions rebounded with a huge league win over cross state rivals PSU Beaver, Saturday, September 17, 2011. The Lions' defense held the opposition to only three shots on goal in their first 4-1 win. Freshman Nick Previti held Beaver to a clean sheet until a solid free kick found the back of the net late in the second half. Forwards Jim Kallarakal and Alex Steele stole the show and added to their season goal totals to two goals each. Matt Fuchsel, Matthew Borromeo and Sam Houlette continued to show their dominance in the midfield with another strong game. The Brandywine Lions have now moved to a 2-0-1 in league and 2-2-1 overall.
