Brandywine Soccer earned a first round bye to advance to the PSUAC semi-finals.

The Brandywine Lions had another strong season this year and for the third consecutive year, the Lions qualified for the playoffs. They were able to earn a second seed bye into the semi-finals of the PSUAC. Sophomore Frenc Baro lead the team with ten goals and Freshman Manny Weldemicael was able to rack up a team leading six assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Nick Previti locked up another strong season in goal with seven wins, and a 2.24 GAA.  Captains CJ Gamber and Matt Borromeo continued to add strong leadership both on and off the field. Sam Houllette and Tom DeJohn both had another stellar season, helping lock down the back field, with the assistance of Sophomore defender Andrew Sinigaglio.  Newcomers, Bradley Jule, and Jarvis Lynch helped lock down the midfield, and added strength to the attack.

Unfortunately, the Lions dropped their semi-final game to a tough Hazelton team on penalty kicks. They team fought hard all game, but were unable to put Hazelton away at the end. This season proved that the Brandywine Lions are continuing to get better with age, and will be a team to contest with in the 2013 season. The program is excited for the returning players next season and hopes to add the right players to help solidify three years of growth and get over the hump to qualify for the PSUAC finals.

Coach DuMont was quoted saying, "Thank you for everyone who supported the Lions this year, we could not have done it without you.  The Lions would also like to thank Assistant Coach Orlando Greene for all of his leadership and knowledge over the past three years. We wish him good luck in all of his endeavors in Chicago. Let's go Brandywine!"
