PSUAC Cross Country Championships

October  20, 2012 - Penn State Brandywine played host to the  PSUAC Cross Country Championships for the first time. Athletic Director,  Jim Gastner, and volunteers including our Penn State Brandywine baseball team and coaches, helped to put on a great event on the grounds of our campus. Coaches, teams  and spectators were impressed and delighted with  the Penn State Brandywine hospitality and course.

In the women's competition, Penn State Worthington Scranton were the Conference Champions followed by our own  Penn State Brandywine women. Kelly Choi and Teresa Gillespie were both among the top ten finishers leading their teammates, Meghan Mooney, Katelyn "Lola" Kulakowski, Jess Meginnis and Kayla Csizmazia to a "Runners- Up" finish for the third straight year.

In the men's Conference Championship, Penn College were the champions followed by Greater Allegheny. Our Penn State Brandywine men finished  third for the best conference finish since the program's start in 2010. Mike Puhl finished second overall in Conference followed closely by   teammates Alex Rivera, Jimmy Payne, Ben Grasso, Andre Smith and Chris Bernstein.
