Brandywine women's basketball accepts bid to the USCAA National Tournament
The women won the PSUAC Southern Division and posted the best record in the PSUAC. The team advanced to the PSUAC Final Four for the 8th consecutive year. Brandywine was the #1 seed on their home court Saturday but they could not take advantage of the situation and lost a close PSUAC semi-final game to PS Greater Allegheny 55-48. Despite the playoff loss, the team posted an 18-8 record and has been given a bid to the USCAA National Championships beginning next week.
The Lady Lions head to PS Fayette to face #5 seed Berkeley College in the first round Tuesday, February 28 at 4 PM.
