DIG PINK with Brandywine

The women's volleyball team will be holding their second annual Dig Pink with Brandywine event to raise funds for The Side-Out Foundation.

The Side-Out Foundation is a support and advocacy organization dedicated to making a significant and identifiable difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families by supporting clinical trials, increasing compassionate support services and educating communities. The term side-out refers to a situation in volleyball when one team wins a point while its opponent is serving, thereby regaining serve or control of play. It is hoped that this Side-Out will do the same for breast cancer patients, providing them with the support, education and best available treatments to regain control of their lives.

Brandywine volleyball is hoping to exceed last year's donation and reach $1,500 in 2012!! We will be selling PINK t-shirts for $10 supporting Dig Pink and Penn State! If you are interested in buying a Dig Pink shirt to show your support please email Coach Algeo at mhl13@psu.edu with Dig Pink in the subject line and amount of shirts and sizes for each.
