Brandywine To Induct First Athletics Hall Of Fame Class; Nominations Now Open

Penn State Brandywine is seeking nominations for its first-ever hall of fame class, which will be officially inducted in January 2020.

Former Penn State Delaware County/Brandywine student-athletes, coaches and administrators are eligible for the hall of fame. Nominations are due by Nov. 1, 2019 and can be submitted to the hall of fame committee online by clicking here.

Former Penn State Delaware County and Brandywine student-athletes are also encouraged to join the Athletic Alumni Team to stay up-to-date on Brandywine athletics and connect with current student-athletes and coaches.

Below are the hall of fame eligibility requirements for student-athletes, coaches and administrators:

Student-Athletes:
1. Competed in a minimum of two years of varsity sports at Penn State Brandywine/Delaware County
2. Minimum five years removed from playing career at Penn State Brandywine/Delaware County
3. Completed time at Penn State Brandywine/Delaware County in good academic standing
4. Participated at a high level of athletic achievement to be determined by the Penn State Brandywine Hall of Fame Committee
5. Be an individual who while at the University was distinguished as not only having demonstrated exceptional athletic ability, but also integrity, sportsmanship and character
 
Coaches/Administrators
1. Individual must have coached/taught/worked at Penn State Brandywine/Delaware County for a minimum of five years
2. Be an individual who had an extraordinary impact on the athletic department as determined by the Penn State Brandywine Hall of Fame Committee
3. During tenure at Penn State Brandywine/Delaware County, have exemplified good sportsmanship and conduct, understood the importance of building individual character, while supporting the athletic department's mission
