67 Brandywine Student-Athletes Named To United East Winter/Spring All-Academic Team
MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine totaled 67 winter and spring student-athletes honored for their work in the classroom this spring as the United East Conference released its winter and spring All-Academic Team on Monday.
To earn Winter and Spring All-Academic Team recognition, a student-athlete competing in a United East-sponsored winter or spring sport must achieve a minimum 3.2 grade point average during the winter and spring semesters and remain in good standing with their team.
Brandywine's 67 award winners represented over 65 percent of student-athletes who competed for the department's seven winter and spring teams, which combined for a 3.20 GPA during the spring semester.
Baseball led the way with 19 honorees, while softball saw 18 student-athletes honored. Women's tennis and men's basketball both produced eight award winners. Men's tennis and women's basketball each received five awards, while all four members of the golf team were honored.
Overall, 108 Brandywine student-athletes were named to United East All-Academic Teams during the 2025-26 academic year, a 31 percent increase compared to the previous school year. Brandywine's 168 student-athletes combined to produced a 3.18 GPA in their second year as a member of NCAA Division III.
