Bio
Brian Stout enters his second season as head golf coach at Penn State Brandywine in 2025-26.
During his first year at Brandywine, Stout guided the Lions to a seventh-place finish at the team's first-ever United East Conference Championship. Two Lions earned all-conference awards, including first-teamer Eric Angle. During the regular season, Matt Cavanaugh broke the program's low-round record, shooting a 74 at Ursinus Spring Classic.
Stout is a graduate of Elon University with a degree in accounting. He currently serves as the owner and CEO of Stout Advisory.
Since graduating from Elon, Stout spent time working at several local golf courses. For the last two years, he has coached his son, Bobby, who is a member of the Pennsbury High School golf team.
Stout is no stranger to Brandywine as his father, Robert, served as a professor on campus during the 1970s and was named Brandywine Teacher of the Year in 1979. He later returned to Brandywine in 1998 to serve as the director of the business program for five years.
