Brandwyine snips Alvernia University in a heated battled.
Penn State Brandywine's ice hockey team fought through a heated battle against league rivals that proved that the two teams' relationship is anything but friendly. With multiple ejections on both teams, the Lions were forced to play with a bench consisting of four defensemen and little more than three offensive lines. Though the game continued to be rough until the final horn, the Lions were able to prevail with a 6-1 decision and most likely a higher ranking in the Atlantic region because of the higher position that Alvernia University is ranked.
Penn State Brandywine's ice hockey team will look forward to their next two meetings with Neumann University, at Ice Line in West Chester, and Richard Stockton at Ice World in Atlantic City.
