Amari Little Earns United East Offensive Player Of The Week Award

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine junior Amari Little (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) was tabbed as the first Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week this season by the United East Conference on Monday afternoon.

In his Brandywine debut, Little poured in a team-high 30 points, leading Brandywine to an 80-69 victory at Penn State Schuylkill Friday night.

Little was efficient from the field, making 10-of-11 field goals, including four-for-five shooting from three-point range. Little made his first six shots of the season and netted 15 points during both halves. He also knocked down all six of his free throw attempts during the game's final minute to secure the victory for Brandywine.

Brandywine (1-0) hosts Penn State Hazleton for its home opener Monday night at 7:00 PM.
