Brandywine Cross Country Runs At Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, New Jersey -- Five members of the Penn State Brandywine men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday in races comprised mainly of NCAA Division I, II and III competitors. All of Brandywine's runners raced as individuals.

A trio of Lion men were paced by sophomore Alex Rivera-Santiago, who completed the 8K race in a time of 31:27. Freshman Mario Miceli crossed the finish line in 36:14, while Luq Richard ran to a time of 40:42.
On the women's side, freshman Annie Mueller clocked in at 29:15 on the 6K course and sophomore Jennifer Petrella finished in a time of 30:04.
Princeton was the final tune-up for the Lions prior to the USCAA National Championships on Nov. 6 in Syracuse, N.Y. The Brandywine women will compete as a team, while Rivera-Santiago will represent the men's squad.
