Brandywine Wraps Up Women’s Basketball Season Against Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. – The Penn State Brandywine women's basketball team saw its 2024-25 season come to a close following a 69-34 non-conference loss to Division II Wilmington on Monday night.

Sierra Diawara (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) led the Lions in scoring with 14 points as she knocked down four three-pointers during the final game of her career. Diawara finished her four seasons at Brandywine with 945 points, including 167 triples, ranking fourth on the team's all-time three-point list.

Anaiyah Allen (Lutz, Fla./Steinbrenner) also competed in a Brandywine uniform for the 101st and final time. She notched nine points to finish 12th all-time in scoring at Brandywine with 1,047 points, while grabbing 10 rebounds.

The Lions' third senior, Kiara Koger (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti), finished two of her career high with 13 rebounds, while collecting a game-high six steals as she concluded her three-year Brandywine career.

Brandywine trailed by eight points after one quarter and the Wildcats expanded their edge to 25 points by halftime. Wilmington never let its lead dip below 20 points during the final 20 minutes.
