Sierra Coleman Earns CSC Academic All-District Selection

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Sierra Coleman (Folcroft, Pa./Academy Park) received recognition on the CSC Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team on Wednesday.

Coleman was one of 24 student-athletes from United East Conference institutions to earn the honor. To be nominated for an Academic All-District award, student-athletes must be a starter for their team, be at least a sophomore academically and own a minimum GPA of 3.50 or greater. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot with all-Americans being announced on December 10.

An English major with a creative writing minor, Coleman holds a 3.76 grade-point average and has been named to the Dean's List six times. She is also a two-time Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar and a three-time conference all-academic team honoree.

On campus, Coleman has served as an orientation leader and resident assistant. She is the special events and travel chair for Brandywine Events and Activities Student Team and a member of Penn in Hand, the Brandywine Music Association, Lion Pride and the Black Student Union.

During her four-year career, Coleman appeared in 47 matches, seventh-most in program history. She started all 13 matches in which she played this fall as a midfielder. Coleman helped Brandywine reach conference championship matches in back-to-back years prior to the Lions joining the United East Conference in 2024.
