As a sophomore economics major, Kuponiyi has earned a 3.71 GPA. Following his rookie season at Brandywine, Kuponiyi was selected as a United East Conference Scholar-Athlete.

On the field, Kuponiyi has appeared in 28 matches in two seasons, including 14 starts. He recorded the first goal of his career during a 5-1 victory over Penn State Schuylkill on September 4.
