Lions Defeated In Fall Women's Tennis Finale
MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine women's tennis team was downed by Berkeley College (N.J.) 8-1 on Saturday afternoon during the final match of the fall for the Lions.
Berkeley swept three doubles matches and claimed five-of-six singles bouts, all in straight sets.
The lone winner for the Lions was freshman Katie Corey (Lansdowne, Pa./Agora Cyber Charter), who claimed her fourth-flight singles match in three sets. Corey was victorious in all three of her singles matches this fall during her first season with the team.
Brandywine completed its fall slate with one victory, a 6-3 triumph over Rosemont, in three matches.
