Collison, Romberger Earn CSC Academic All-District Awards

MEDIA, Pa. -- A pair of Penn State Brandywine baseball student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team as Will Collison (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne's County) and Nate Romberger (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen School) earned awards on Tuesday.
 
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and compete in at least 90 percent of their team's games or pitch at least 40 innings. Academic All-Americans will be announced on June 23.
 
Collison owns a 3.85 grade-point average as a cybersecurity major following his first year at Brandywine. He also earned United East Scholar Athlete accolades and was a two-time member of the Dean's List. On the field, Collison hit .360 with 14 extra-base hits, including three home runs, in 31 games. He added 22 runs scored, 21 RBI and four stolen bases. 
 
Prior to arriving at Brandywine, Collison was a .305 hitter and a NJCAA Academic All-American in two seasons of play at Chesapeake College.
 
A marketing major, Romberger has earned a 3.75 GPA through his sophomore year. He is a two-time United East Scholar Athlete and four-time member of the Dean's List. Romberger earned Second Team All-United East laurels as a pitcher in 2026 after leading the Lions in nearly every pitching category. He pitched to a 2-2 record with a .370 earned run average and 42 strikeouts in 48.2 innings. Romberger chipped in offensively with 10 hits and six RBI in 28 at-bats.
