MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine dropped its third home game of the season, falling by a score of 86-36 to visiting Widener on Saturday afternoon.
Raelyn Loper (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) and Tejanae Ballin (Cambridge, Md./Cambridge-South Dorchester) shared the Lions' scoring lead with seven points each, while Trinell Watson (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) and Journey Handy (Delmar, Md./Delmar Christian) both collected six points.
Ballin and Jazmyn Kemp (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) both pulled in five rebounds, while Watson produced a pair of steals.
Widener shot 54 percent from the field, while limiting the Lions to 21 percent shooting. The visitors held a 36-point edge by halftime and did not let Brandywine cut into the margin during the second half.
Brandywine visits Penn State Harrisburg for a non-conference game Tuesday at 5:00 PM.
