Brandywine Falls In Final Game Of Road Trip

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Penn State Brandywine women's basketball team dropped the final game of its three-game road swing, falling 74-44 at Notre Dame of Maryland on Saturday afternoon.

Taylor Mims (Yeadon, Pa./Penn Wood) led the Lions with nine points, while Trinell Watson (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) added eight points. Ashley Robinson (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) recorded seven points and Jazmyn Kemp (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) tallied team highs with 11 rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

Brandywine fell into a 24-2 hole through 10 minutes and trailed by the same 22-point margin at halftime, 40-18.

The hosts opened the second half with four-straight points and did not allow Brandywine within 20 points until fewer than eight minutes remained in regulation.

Brandywine hosts Keystone Wednesday at 7:30 PM.
